How to start investing in mutual funds?

  1. Login to the FedMobile app, tap on ‘Investments’ at the bottom bar of Home Screen, and go to Mutual Funds. Or, select ‘Mutual Funds’ listed under ‘Other Services’ on Home screen.
  2. To register, accept the Terms and Conditions. Upon accepting it, an overlay will show the necessary items/documents to be kept handy to complete the process.
  3. Select the Operative Account through which you want to transact.
  4. Enter your mail Id and resident mobile number (resident mobile number is mandatory for NRIs too). Enter the OTP you receive on this mobile number/email ID.
  5. Enter nominee details, FATCA declaration page, and complete the Risk Profile.
  6. To proceed, resident customers need to upload signature and NRIs need to upload signature and either a cancelled cheque or an account statement in JPEG format.
  7. Your registration is now complete and you can start investing. The resident mutual fund account will get activated instantly and for NRIs it will take up to 24 hours.

Important Note:

You can view the details of all your investments by visiting the ‘My Investments’ tab under the Investments feature in the app.

For versions above 6.3.0- Investments done through the Federal ARN will no longer be displayed. Only investments done through Equirus ARN be displayed.

View the Summary of Your Investments Online

Once you have successfully registered for Mutual Funds through FedMobile, you can then view the summary of all your mutual fund investments done via Federal Bank and Equirus Wealth on the dashboard.

What all actions can you perform on the dashboard?

  1. You can register for Mutual Funds and make investments
  2. Login to the FedMobile app, tap on ‘Investments’ at the bottom bar of the Home screen, and go to ‘Mutual Funds.’
  3. View your total investments on the dashboard.
  4. Dashboard will show total investments made, current value of investments, profit/loss on the investments and your holdings.
  5. Within the holdings, if any particular investment is selected and swiped left, you can find the options for Top Up, Sell/Switch, Transaction Report (Txn Report).

How to transact?

  1. Login to the FedMobile app, tap on ‘Investments’ at the bottom of the Home screen and go to ‘Mutual Funds’ and complete the registration.
  2. Select the “+” (plus button) at the bottom of the dashboard
  3. Choose from recommended funds, or filtered funds as per your wishes.
  4. Select an investment mode from Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) or One-time investment (Lumpsum).
  5. Enter the Amount & define SIP tenure by editing dates.
  6. Tap on ‘Add to Cart,’ selct the cart icon at the right bottom, & accept the ‘Terms and Conditions.’
  7. Tap on ‘Go to Confirmation’ button, check the investment details & authorize the transaction by checking the box.
  8.  Tap on ‘Confirm Transaction’ & enter MPIN to complete the transaction.
Important Note:

Please note that you can redeem your investments or switch them to other funds or withdraw them systematically through SWP at any time.

Stay Updated on Your Mutual Fund Investments

Keep track of all your mutual fund investments and know how your funds have been performing to take a guided decision in future. With FedMobile, you can now download reports of your mutual funds containing transactions, capital gains, SIPs, and Payments and Investments.

How to generate reports?

  1. Login to the FedMobile app, tap on ‘Investments’ at the bottom of the Home screen and go to ‘Mutual Funds.’
  2. Go to the Profile icon at the bottom bar & tap  on ‘Transaction Reports.’
  3. Tap on ‘Transaction statement’  & select the type of statement required
  4. Enter the period & download the statement. Similarly download Holding Statements and Capital Gain Statements.’
  5. Tap on ‘Exit’ to leave the section.
