UPI for NRIs on FedMobile

The introduction of UPI for NRIs on FedMobile will enable NR customers to transact seamlessly in the UPI ecosystem. With UPI on FedMobile, NRI clients can enjoy a wide range of payment options, including Send Money (via Mobile Number/UPI ID/Account Number), Scan N Pay (for any UPI-supported QR code), UPI Collect (using Mobile Number/UPI ID), and UPI Mandate approvals, including those for IPO Subscription.

Who are eligible?
  • NRI customers residing in these countries approved by the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) can seamlessly utilize UPI features through FedMobile. The NPCI approved countries include Singapore (+65), Australia (+61), Malaysia (+60), Canada (+1), Hong Kong (+852), Oman (+968), Qatar (+974), United States of America (+1), Saudi Arabia (+966), United Arab Emirates (+971), and United Kingdom (+44). More countries will be included as and when approved by NPCI.
  • Customers residing in the above countries who have registered their resident country mobile number / an Indian mobile number in their NRI account can avail this facility.
  • Also, any NRI customer ( residing in countries mentioned other than the above) with an Indian mobile number (+91) registered in the Bank’s records can avail of this facility, further enhancing accessibility.
How to Get Started:
  • Ensure you have the latest version(6.7.0) of FedMobile.
  • Log in to the App.
  • Navigate to the BHIM UPI section on Home screen.
  • Complete the UPI Device Activation procedure.
  • Go to Manage Accounts to view your linked accounts to VPA.
  • Now you can start transacting via UPI.
